Change Model: The Grameen Creative Lab & ITP
This inspiring two-day workshop about social innovation and social business is organized by ITP, Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in collaboration with The Grameen Creative Lab.
The unique event takes place September 17 and 18 at ITP and brings together leading technologists, representatives from NGO’s, international development experts, industry professionals, academics and practitioners in order to explore approaches to development, share perspectives and best practices, and develop concrete social business ideas.
The program will begin with a series of short talks the morning of September 17, followed by a facilitated workshop where participants will engage in a conversation on social innovation and the tools and models that can activate and support change.

- Utku Teksoz, Economic Advisor to the UN Secretary-General

- Jennifer P. Holt, Deputy Director, Peace Dividend Trust
- Dr. Jill Kickul, Director, NYU-Stern Program in Social Entrepreneurship
On Sunday September 18, participants will explore the concept of social business, and develop their own social business ideas in highly interactive breakout sessions. As one of the highlights, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus will close the event and give his feedback to the generated ideas.
The participant fee for the event is $250, with a reduced rate of $95 for students.
