The Social Business Tour has officially launched in Vienna and Bratislava today, with two Social Business Labs (SBL) being held simultaneously in Vienna and Bratislava. Over 100 participants had registered for each of these labs.
The Social Business Tour is the first tour of its kind - with the aim and goal tospread social business and bring the knowledge and seed of social business to Eastern Europe.
One way it will do this is through the Social Business Labs, but also through The Social Business Idea 2010 Competition, which is a competition which encourages nationals of Eastern European countries to come up with social business solutions to problems faced in their respective countries.
Professor Yunus is the patron of the Social Business Tour, and will be attending several events in Vienna, including the official opening of the Hub Vienna.
