On Monday 8 March, three members of the GCL team flew to Caldas, a region in Colombia, to kick-off the Holistic Social Business Movement of Caldas.

Over a week, they conducted various workshops and helped establish project teams. Two GCL members are staying in Caldas for approximately a month to follow up on the advancement of the project, and regular trips will be planned in the future.

This holistic movement will include the set up of a Microcredit Organisation, Venture Capital Fund, and Social Business Joint Ventures, all managed under the umbrella of the Grameen Caldas Social Business Trust
