Prof. Yunus is participating in the panel discussion "Génération solidaire - réinventions, entreprenons!" at the famous theatre Grand Rex in Paris today. The event is hosted by HEC's "Chair Social Business and Poverty" and is part of the "Change the World" conference. Panelists among others are Martin Hirsch, High Commissioner for Active Solidarities against Poverty, and Franck Riboud, CEO of Groupe Danone. Prof. Yunus is responding to questions from the audience of 3,500 people.

Before the panel discussion, Prof. Yunus is visiting the social business projects of Danone Group with Ares and La Petite Reine. La Petite Reine, supported by Danone Group, is creating a new urban ecologic delivery system for local shops. Ares is a reintegration association centered around helping the homeless, handicapped and school drop-outs to actively take part in the social and economic life.

In addition, Prof. Yunus was able to see the work of Emmaus Défi, an organization that fights against social exclusion by providing jobs in the realm of recycling.
