Saskia Bruysten Judge at "Act for Impact" Social Entrepreneurship Competition

Saskia Bruysten, Director of the Grameen Creative Lab, was part of a panel of jury who judged the top 10 voted social entrepreneurship initiatives submitted by students from Germany, Denmark, Great Britain and Hungary, as part of the "Act for Impact" competition.

The competition is run by Jacobs University in Bremen, in cooperation with the Vodafone Foundation, and awards the team with the winning social entrepreneurial idea with 9,000 EUR.

This year's top social entrepreneurship initiative that won was: Spread the Word, which markets prison made products as a social rehabilitation measure for juvenile delinquents. The winning team behind this idea was a group of four students from the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and Zeppelin University.
