This Monday  Prof. Yunus spoke to several business and finance leaders at Miami Dade College in Florida promoting the idea of a “social business fund“ for Haiti. The idea is to set up a fund that invests only in companies that are creating social businesses in Haitit to empower the poorest by creating social businesses. It is part of the vision to facilitate long-term recovery and reconstruction in Haitiand to eradicate poverty on the long term.
